Seeking a Payments Team Leader to lead and manage Payments Specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring Payments Specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Overseeing the processing of vendor payments, payroll payments, and manual payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reviewing payment requests for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorisation before processing payments.
- Preparing regular reports and key performance indicators for management review.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions to streamline disbursement processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a Payments Specialist position with a strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to payment processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity with experience in achieving deadlines, organising and prioritising tasks.
- Strong IT skills, experience working with banking platforms and COINS preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
