Job Description

Payroll Administrator role at Vhi Group Services DAC, supporting payroll operations and processing across the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of all payrolls, supporting monthly payroll reviews, and assisting with payroll-related returns to the Revenue Commissioners and CSO.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing payrolls accurately and on time
  • Supporting monthly payroll reviews and financial reconciliations
  • Assisting with submission of payroll-related returns
  • Building and maintaining relationships with HR, payroll team leader, and stakeholders
  • Delivering agreed service level agreements against key performance indicators
  • Supporting ad-hoc payroll reporting and engaging on payroll-related projects
  • Addressing employee queries in a discrete and professional manner
  • Supporting payroll lead in managing internal and external payroll audits

Requirements:

  • Payroll qualification or currently studying for a payroll qualification (IPASS preferred)
  • 2 years experience within Payroll or Finance Function
  • Experience using payroll systems, experience with Core is desirable
  • Good understanding around the taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Proven team player skills with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and take ownership of role
  • Proven Customer service skills
  • Proven ability to operate with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately and efficiently analyse information with excellent numerical skills
