Job Description

Job Description: Payroll Administrator role at Vhi Group Services DAC requires processing payrolls, supporting payroll reviews, and building relationships with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will support the operation and processing of all payrolls across the business through our payroll software as directed by the Group Payroll Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all payroll related activities are processed accurately and in time for the monthly payroll runs.
  • Support monthly payroll reviews for quality and accuracy, including financial reconciliations.
  • Assist in the submission of all payroll related returns to the Revenue Commissioners and CSO.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, payroll team leader and all other stakeholders.
  • Deliver agreed service level agreements against key performance indicators as required and requested by payroll lead.
  • Support ad-hoc payroll reporting as requested to support the wider business and engage on payroll related projects.
  • Address employee queries as they arise, in a discrete and professional manner.
  • Support payroll lead in the management of all internal and external payroll audits.

Requirements:

  • Payroll qualification or currently studying for a payroll qualification (IPASS preferred).
  • 2 years experience within Payroll or Finance Function.
  • Experience using payroll systems, experience with Core is desirable.
  • Good understanding around the taxation of employer paid benefits.
  • Proven team player skills with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and take ownership of role.
  • Proven Customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to operate with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately and efficiently analyse information with excellent numerical skills.
