Payroll Administrator Opportunity
C&D Foods, a leading Own Label Petfood manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare payroll analysis reports to inform business decisions.
- Manage payroll data, including new hires, terminations, tax changes, and other payroll-related information.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide clear, concise information.
- Issue payslips, payroll-related taxation, social welfare documents, and other necessary documentation.
- Filing monthly returns with Revenue to ensure compliance with guidelines via ROS.
- Calculate holiday and sick pay, and address any related queries.
- Update payroll records for new joiners and leavers.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
- Liaise with employment agencies regarding temporary staff, including hours, holidays, and sick pay.
Personal Competencies & Qualifications:
- Payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
