Payroll Administrator Opportunity

C&D Foods, a leading Own Label Petfood manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be based in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare payroll analysis reports to inform business decisions.
  • Manage payroll data, including new hires, terminations, tax changes, and other payroll-related information.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide clear, concise information.
  • Issue payslips, payroll-related taxation, social welfare documents, and other necessary documentation.
  • Filing monthly returns with Revenue to ensure compliance with guidelines via ROS.
  • Calculate holiday and sick pay, and address any related queries.
  • Update payroll records for new joiners and leavers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
  • Liaise with employment agencies regarding temporary staff, including hours, holidays, and sick pay.

Personal Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and communication skills to inform and advise others.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels.
  • Organizational skills to balance immediate and long-term priorities.
