Job Description

We are currently seeking a Payroll Supervisor within a semi-private company.
The role entails reporting to the Central Finance Manager and working closely with HR and an outsourced service provider.
This role will primarily be backfilling the BAU aspects of Payroll and to a lesser extent, Grants Administration.
Benefits of the Payroll Supervisor Job include: A highly competitive salary Hybrid working model with flexibility Exposure to public sector opportunities Responsibilities of the Payroll Supervisor Job include: Processing of fortnightly Payroll and deductions for staff and pensioners Ensuring compliance and adherence to the policies set down by Revenue Preparing necessary reconciliations and returns such as Pension and CSO in line with deadlines Preparing high quality reports and ad-hoc returns to external stakeholders, such as the Department of Transport and other Freedom of Information requests Providing inputs relating to Payroll for cash flow forecasting of payments Key point of contact for the Department of Transport, C&AG, internal and external stakeholders including HR, Revenue and external service providers Contributing to a strong compliance culture by ensuring robust internal controls and audit standards are achieved and maintained Driving existing and new policies and procedures Inputting into the preparation of the annual audit, financial statements and budget process Staff mentoring & management where required Supporting the grant administration process and managing any miscellaneous income streams Collaborating on projects as part of a continuous improvement program, including the utilisation of technology and financial systems to streamline business processes Any other duties that may be assigned to the role Requirements of the Payroll Supervisor Job include: Professional Qualification within a relevant field Previous Irish Payroll experience within a financial role Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Good organisational and time management skills paying meticulous attention to detail Ability to work well with others as part of a team Strong stakeholder management and ability to build rapport A positive and flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines If this sounds like an opportunity you may be interested in, please contact Neil with an up to date CV via the link attached, or contact Neil Redmond directly on Linked In.
