Job Description

Payroll Manager Lir Chocolates Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week (09:00 - 17:00 per day) Start Date: January 2025 Lir Chocolates are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for both permanent and seasonal employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Irish payroll regulations, and timely reporting to management. Responsibilities Process payroll for permanent and seasonal employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments. Maintain payroll records and employee information. Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions. Generate payroll reports for management review and assist with financial reconciliations. Ensure compliance with statutory payments (e.g., maternity pay, paternity pay, sick pay). Skills & Experience IPASS qualification is essential. Substantial payroll experience, with a strong understanding of Irish payroll regulations and tax laws. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Strong collaborative approach to work effectively across departments. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professional integrity. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
