Payroll Manager sought for a growing firm in Dundalk with operations across Europe, requiring strong payroll experience and potential team leadership.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll for permanent staff and subcontractors
- Calculating correct employee pay, including hours worked, overtime rates, taxes, and national insurance payments
- Processing holiday, sick, maternity, and paternity leave payments
- Dealing with employee queries
- Continual process improvement of the payroll function
- Potentially overseeing a small team
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in payroll
- Experience managing people, preferably
- Experience dealing with subcontractors, ideal
- A background in construction or engineering sectors, preferred
