Job Description

Payroll Manager sought for a growing firm in Dundalk with operations across Europe, requiring strong payroll experience and potential team leadership.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for:

  • Processing payroll for permanent staff and subcontractors
  • Calculating correct employee pay, including hours worked, overtime rates, taxes, and national insurance payments
  • Processing holiday, sick, maternity, and paternity leave payments
  • Dealing with employee queries
  • Continual process improvement of the payroll function
  • Potentially overseeing a small team

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in payroll
  • Experience managing people, preferably
  • Experience dealing with subcontractors, ideal
  • A background in construction or engineering sectors, preferred
