A large Galway-based company is seeking a payroll manager who will work closely with operations across the payroll and hr function. This role will suit a candidate who enjoys an integral role within a busy, fast-paced and growing business. Your New Role: Collate data from payroll sources. Arrange weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports. Supervise and direct payroll team. Direct payroll teams workload to meet deadlines. Administer benefit plans. Weekly, biweekly and monthly financial reports. Be knowledgeable about and understand new legislation impacting payroll. Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Review payroll policies and amend procedures when required. Oversee the preparation of payroll related documents. Organise current employee data systems. Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations. Maintain accurate account balances. Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such. Resolve issues relating to payroll production. Performance- manage payroll staff for growth within the team. Your previous experience: 3+ years in a busy payroll function, ideally managing a small team Comfortability working in tandem with HR Exposure to comp and benefits analysis will be a huge benefit but not necessary. IPASS qualification or an equivalent diploma/experience Additional information This role is based fully on-site due to the nature of working with both HR and operations on a regular basis.
