Job Description

Significant experience in Payroll Management, including Bright Pay Payroll Software and IPASS certification, is sought by a successful Irish Accountancy firm in Dundalk for a 4.5 day week role with a good salary. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge and be able to manage a team of 3 payroll specialists, oversee billing and ensure payroll is accurately processed and maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage delivery of a diverse portfolio of clients for domestic and international payroll

Review of timesheets for uploading to the payroll software

Oversee billing including budgeting and timely preparation of invoices

Maintain appropriate pension contributions and uploading reports to providers

Ensure Payroll is accurately processed and maintained by their deadlines

Processing submissions to Revenue to include management of payments

Person specification:

IPASS qualified

2yrs minimum experience in a Payroll Manager Position

Good knowledge of PAYE, PRSI, BIK etc

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle a high volume of work, delegate appropriately and manage a team

Pro-Active approach to tasks and helping cross-functionally

The successful candidate will report directly to the Payroll Manager and be able to build relationships, influence upwards and laterally, take ownership of tasks, and keep colleagues informed of progress. Salary is negotiable, aligned with your experience and skills. This is a permanent role with a 4.5 day working week.
