Job Description
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for both weekly and monthly payrolls, covering over 150 employees in Ireland. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
- Liasing with supervisors and managers to review timesheets and ensure automatic upload into the payroll software
- Calculating holiday pay, statutory payments, and benefits in kind
- Setting up new employees and terminating leavers on the payroll system
- Working closely with the Finance team and Pension Advisors on pensions and other financial matters
- Performing manual Gross to Net calculations when required
- Managing payment and reconciliation of third-party deductions
- Completing payroll bank reconciliations in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with tax filing and reconciliation requirements, including PAYE Modernisation
- Contributing to various payroll-related projects and internal and external audits
- Overseeing the expense procedure and processing expenses for Irish employees
- Producing relevant payroll reports to support finance monthly accruals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in payroll
- iPass Qualified
