Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for both weekly and monthly payrolls, covering over 150 employees in Ireland. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
  • Liasing with supervisors and managers to review timesheets and ensure automatic upload into the payroll software
  • Calculating holiday pay, statutory payments, and benefits in kind
  • Setting up new employees and terminating leavers on the payroll system
  • Working closely with the Finance team and Pension Advisors on pensions and other financial matters
  • Performing manual Gross to Net calculations when required
  • Managing payment and reconciliation of third-party deductions
  • Completing payroll bank reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Ensuring compliance with tax filing and reconciliation requirements, including PAYE Modernisation
  • Contributing to various payroll-related projects and internal and external audits
  • Overseeing the expense procedure and processing expenses for Irish employees
  • Producing relevant payroll reports to support finance monthly accruals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll
  • iPass Qualified
