Payroll Specialist
Manage the end-to-end payroll process for Ireland locations, covering over 150 employees, ensuring completion within set deadlines.
- Manage weekly and monthly payrolls for Ireland locations
- Liaise with supervisors/managers regarding timesheet review and automatic upload into payroll software
- Calculate holiday pay, statutory payments, and benefits in kind
- Collaborate with Human Resources team to manage payroll amendments and address issues
- Set up new employees and terminate leavers on the payroll system
- Work closely with Finance team and Pension Advisors regarding Pensions and Government auto-enrolment
- Perform manual Gross to Net calculations when required
- Manage payment and reconciliation of third-party deductions
- Implement legislative changes and update procedures as necessary
- Complete payroll bank reconciliations in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with tax filing and reconciliation requirements
- Update work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Contribute to payroll-related projects as needed
- Handle internal and external payroll queries efficiently
- Oversee the expense procedure and process expenses for Irish employees
- Perform other tasks assigned by the manager as needed
Reporting and Others
- Produce relevant payroll reports to support finance monthly accruals
- Produce relevant reports to assist production overtime reports by function
- Produce expense reports to ensure financial data captured into ERP system
- Collaborate with Human Resources Team to produce the gender pay gap report
