Your new company An exciting Payroll Specialist role opened in Cork for a hybrid role. Your new role Manage the end-to-end payroll process for both weekly and monthly payrolls for Ireland, covering over 150+ employees, ensuring completion within set deadlines. Liasing with supervisors / managers regarding the review of timesheets for automatic upload into the payroll software. Calculation of holiday pay and statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay etc. Calculations of benefits in kind to be included in the payroll process. Setting up new employees and terminating leavers on the payroll system. Work closely with the Finance team and Pension Advisors regarding Pensions. Accurately perform manual Gross to Net calculations when required. Manage payment and reconciliation of third-party deductions. Complete payroll bank reconciliations in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with tax filing and reconciliation requirements, including PAYE Modernisation. Ensuring adherence to the organisation's internal financial controls with regard to payroll in both internal and external audits. Contribute to various payroll-related projects as internal and external payroll queries efficiently. Oversee the expense procedure, processing expenses for Irish employees and the associated ERR with ROS. Produce relevant payroll reports to support finance monthly accruals (holiday accrual) to ensure financial completeness / accuracy.
