Payroll Specialist required to process monthly payrolls, manage outsourced payrolls, and prepare payments for UK and EU countries.

Job Description

Our client, based in Dundalk, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience with payroll systems, a strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation, and a part-qualified accounting qualification or equivalent experience.

  • Process monthly payrolls for UK and EU countries
  • Manage outsourced payrolls
  • Generate and process payments
  • Process pension uploads and changes
  • Prepare monthly payroll-related payments
  • Submit governmental returns and appendix 5
  • Process new starts and leavers
  • Calculate holiday and sickness payments
  • Resolve payroll queries
  • Import payroll journals
  • Maintain all payroll records
  • Assist external accountants with shadow payrolls

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

IPASS is required, and prior experience of SAGE payroll is desirable.
