Seeking experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payrolls for UK and EU countries, with strong knowledge of PAYE and NIC, to deal with payroll legislation changes.

Job Description

We are now seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Dundalk. The ideal candidate will have: * 2+ years experience in a payroll position * Strong understanding of payroll processes and legislation * Part qualified accounting qualification or equivalent experience in industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payrolls for UK and EU countries
  • Manage outsourced payrolls and generate payments
  • Process pension uploads and changes
  • Prepare monthly payroll related payments for tax authorities, pension, etc.
  • Submit governmental returns and appendix 5
  • Resolve payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Import payroll journals and process end of year returns and P60s
  • Maintain all payroll records
  • Assist external accountants processing of shadow payrolls
  • Carry out any ad hoc activities that may arise from time to time

Requirements:

  • Must have experience with payroll systems
  • Must have strong knowledge of PAYE and NIC
  • Prior experience of SAGE payroll is desirable
  • IPASS required
