Job Description
We are seeking a newly qualified salaried GP to join our multi-disciplinary team in a large training practice with 48,000 patients.
The post offers a dedicated mentor, a reduced and controlled workload, and the opportunity to develop as a fully qualified GP.
The Ridings Medical Group is a large, forward-thinking, training and GP Dispensing Practice with a strong, diverse, clinical team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of healthcare professionals, including GPs, ACPs, Pharmacists, and Nurses.
The working hours for this post would be 20-40 hours (4-8 clinical sessions) per week.
The main duties of the job include:
- Morning and evening surgeries
- Dictation for referrals
- Electronic post and results
- Patient visits
- Dispensary tasks
- Sign scripts in dispensary
- Informal post-surgery discussion
- Meetings: Significant Event Meetings, educational meetings, Salaried GP meets and social events
- Clinical meetings option of remotely via MS Teams
- Medication Reviews
- Extended Hours/IA sessions shared on a pro rata basis across all practice/PCN staff
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience using Systm One
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Any level of post-training experience will be considered
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified General Practitioner (Completed VTS in last two years only), Registered General Practitioner (GMC), and have a Current UK/EU Driving License.
