Job Description

Seeking experienced Peer Support Worker to enhance and strengthen the Seeking Safety programme. Work with RWN to deliver the programme, providing peer support to group participants and establishing an inclusive environment. Essential requirements include a relevant qualification, commitment to mental health and recovery, and experience working with individuals and groups in addiction and/or mental health/trauma. Flexitime and sick pay benefits available.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide peer support to group participants
Help establish an inclusive and safe environment
Work with the Seeking Safety Project Worker to facilitate the programme for participants impacted by dual diagnosis
Assist with paperwork and review outcomes
Work as part of a team and assist with other work as required

Essential Requirements:
Relevant qualification in a health, education or related field (Level 3 QQI Framework)
Strong commitment to mental health and recovery
Desire to inspire others and share experiences
Informed by lived experience of trauma/mental health and/or addiction challenges
Experience working with individuals and groups in addiction and/or mental health/trauma
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
Full driving licence and access to own vehicle

Working Hours and Benefits:
7 hours per week
€5,307 per annum (€14.50 per hour)
