Performance & Evaluation Manager Skillnet Ireland is seeking to recruit an astute individual with extensive experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment to monitor, measure and maximise the performance of grant-funded Programmes and Initiatives. Working across teams, the successful candidate will play a central role in maximising the impact of Skillnet Business Networks and Initiatives, supporting the delivery of the Skillnet Ireland Strategy 2021-2025 and demonstrating Skillnet Irelands contribution to industry and national policy. This is an exciting senior level opportunity. Key Responsibilities Lead on the ongoing rollout of Skillnet Irelands Performance & Evaluation Framework and Strategy, working with industry partners to identify key growth drivers and address challenges. Lead new projects which optimise Skillnet Irelands overall approach to evaluation, while further developing the capacity of industry partners to measure outcomes and impact. Lead on the design and maintenance of performance dashboards and reports, enhancing the overall quality of information available to the Executive, Board Committees and industry groups. Oversee Network performance review processes including quality assurance, data analysis and insights generation. Coordinate and oversee the assessment of grant applications., reviewing appraisal and grant-making processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Manage and support the role of Performance & Evaluation Co-ordinator. Build key stakeholder relationships while working closely across functional areas and through consultants, ensuring a cohesive approach to the oversight of performance and evaluation. Essential Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 8 years experience in a complex service delivery model, with a demonstrable record of success through multi-stakeholder initiatives. Significant experience of monitoring and evaluating grant-funded Programmes or Initiatives, ensuring high levels of performance delivery. Hold a relevant 3rd level degree, or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience. Excellent commercial acumen and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of seniority. First class oral and written communication skills, with the capacity to summarise and articulate complex information that improves strategic and operational decision-making. Strong analytical, data management, financial and quantitative modelling capability. Self-directed and resilient, taking personal responsibility for the delivery of objectives and overcoming challenges. Excellent attention to detail, IT, project management, and organisational skills. Desirable Qualifications and Experience Knowledge of industry and workforce development practices in Ireland and an ability to advise on the development of solutions to related challenges.
