Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work with displaced children and young people who are separated from their families and place of origin, seeking asylum, and preparing them for an onward placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high quality, integrated approach that enables young people to achieve positive outcomes
- Work proactively with the Regional Director to contribute to the optimum delivery and development of Orchard Residential Care
- Promote a culture within Orchard Residential Care that is respectful, non-discriminatory and embracing of diversity
- Lead and participate in the On-Call support system
- Manage the Childrens home to ensure the safety and well-being of young people and staff
Requirements:
- A recognised Level 8 Social Care qualification
- Three years direct experience of working in residential childcare, and/or managing services to vulnerable children and young people
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Proficient IT skills and understanding of utilising word, adobe, excel etc.
- A full clean drivers license which has been held for more than one year
