Job Description

Seeking a Personal Assistant/Senior Administrator to provide high-level administrative support to the Registrar and Deans in a dynamic university environment.

The Registrar is the second most senior leader in the University management team, overseeing education and student experience. The postholder will provide administrative support, including committee support, diary management, correspondence coordination, project assistance, event management, and general office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for the office, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries.
  • Manage diaries for two Deans.
  • Provide secretarial support to groups, boards, or committees, including coordinating meetings, preparing papers, minute taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with organizing events.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as ordering catering, room bookings, and conference registration.
  • Take minutes of meetings.

Working Arrangements:

  • Monday to Thursday, 28 hours per week, pro-rata.
  • 3-4 month contract.

The postholder will be part of a small team taking shared responsibility for various tasks and will play a key role in liaising with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
