Newport Pharmacy is a family-owned business located in the heart of County Mayo. We are now recruiting a full-time Pharmacy Sales Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone to join our progressive team to further their career development, with opportunities leading to becoming a Pharmacy Technician. As a Pharmacy Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for taking care of the OTC counter, customer service, and shop floor sales and be the main point of contact for our valued customers. Duties Advising customers on the safe use of medicines and pharmacy products, full training is provided. Offering a professional and efficient customer service. Stock rotation. Managing inventory levels to ensure that products are readily available to customers. Processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets. Staying updated on product knowledge and promotions. Keeping the pharmacy clean and tidy at all times. Requirements Excellent communication skills Customer focused & friendly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and to treat customer/patient information confidentially.
