Senior Pharmacy Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Adrian Dunne Pharmacy Group. As a key member of our dispensary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and customer service.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for dispensing and preparing prescriptions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.
Main Responsibilities
- Dispensing and preparing prescriptions
- Providing high-quality customer service
- Maintaining efficient stock control and ordering
- Ensuring accurate prescription control
- Completing end-of-month claims and understanding reject and reclaims books
- Providing support and guidance to junior team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized dispensary environment
Requirements
- Approved Pharmacy Technician Qualification
- At least two years' experience in a Technician/Dispensary role
- In-depth product knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- A helpful and courteous manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays, when required
- Fluency in English
- Authorized to work in Ireland
