Job Description
A pharmacy technician you will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist. You will assist in various tasks related to the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications. Your primary role is to support the pharmacist in ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Accurately measure, package, label, and record medications. Provide excellent customer service and answer queries related to medications and health products. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies. Process prescription orders using pharmacy software systems. Support the pharmacist with patient consultations and ensuring the safe delivery of medications. Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulations. Assist with the preparation of extemporaneous medications and compounding when necessary. Keep up to date with pharmacy best practices and protocols. An opportunity to join a great small chain of pharmacies who look after their staff and customers equally.
