Job Description

We're seeking a Physical Security Program Manager to join our AWS Data Center Operations Security Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and integrating security systems equipment, including Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects, securing compliance of physical security project standards, and building and deploying training programs for all users of physical security systems.

About the Role:

  • Design, install, and integrate security systems equipment, including Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
  • Provide technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects, coordinating security system design specifications and change management between internal teams and external vendors.
  • Secure compliance of physical security project standards, project Scopes of Work, budgets, and timelines.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and change outs.
  • Support security system equipment commissioning, completing final test and acceptance of security systems.
  • Build and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems.

Requirements:

  • 5-12 years of experience in managing the operation and installation of regional and/or global physical security systems.
  • Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large and complex installations.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry.
  • Extensive experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
  • Certification in either S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems, CPP, PSP, or CISSP Certification.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in managing security professionals or security monitoring centers desired.
