Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly-motivated Basic Grade Physiotherapist to join our team in CHO 7 CDNT 10 Mid-Kildare, providing physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices, with experience in working with children with disabilities, conducting assessment of need assessments, and prescribing and monitoring equipment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and demonstrate a clear understanding of the Family Centred approach in the delivery of services to people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services to children with a range of disabilities
- Work across various settings including clinics, schools, preschools, and community settings
- Conduct assessment, diagnostics, and intervention services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans
- Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Professional Development
