Job Description

Position Description This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer focused team. The IT Resourcing team is part of the Plan and Develop team in Enterprise Services and provides resource management and planning support services for the IT Delivery and CIO organisations. Key Responsibilities As an analyst within the IT Resourcing team, you will be responsible for supporting the resourcing of ESB's IT investments using the SAP Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tool as follows: Ensure that the IT contractor on-boarding / off-boarding processes are followed correctly. Work with Team Leads, HR and IT Teams to ensure new IT contractors are on boarded as per the agreed timelines. Provide support and training to end users via the IT Resourcing mailbox. Proactive monitoring of the IT Resourcing Mailbox to ensure excellent customer support is maintained. Ensuring data accuracy and data-quality is maintained. Liaise with Project Managers & Team Leads to ensure their resource plans are updated in SAP PPM. Support the team SME in identifying areas within the IT Resourcing team where operational improvements can be implemented. Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly IT Resourcing reports and collate information to support the business in effective / timely resource decision making. Experience and Qualifications Essential Applicants should be delivery focussed and have the following demonstrable knowledge, skills, and experience: Minimum of 1-2 years' relevant work experience, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An orientation to working with detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on a range of duties as assigned. Experience in MS Office packages, in particular Excel. Desirable SAP PPM Experience or similar Project Portfolio Management Tool however if no experience in this tooling, on the job training / mentoring will be provided. A Third level education or equivalent experience. Location This position will primarily be based in ESB Head Office - Fitzwilliam 27 ESB is committed to smart working - combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week.
