Job Description
We are seeking a Planning & Environmental Consultant to work on large-scale and strategic developments for multinational clients in Ireland and Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with significant experience of planning and permitting to work on large-scale projects.
- Involve in the preparation and management of development consents, compliance, and planning strategy for large-scale projects.
- Participate in the design process for layout, master planning, and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
- Manage the interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Liaise with County Councils, An Bord Pleanla, and other statutory bodies as required.
Experience with engagement with environmental permitting, including EPA Licence application process and/or waste facility licencing process, is beneficial.
A minimum qualification of Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline is required.
Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI or equivalent) or working towards chartership is preferred.
Knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, policy, and practice, as well as project management skills, is essential.
A proven track record of working on your own initiative and promoting an inclusive workplace is desirable.
