Job Description Summary: We are seeking a Planning & Environmental Consultant to work on large scale and strategic developments for multinational clients in Ireland and Europe.
Job Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the preparation and management of development consents, compliance and planning strategy for large scale projects.
- Participation in design process for layout, master planning and input or coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
- Management of the interaction with multi-disciplinary project teams, clients and stakeholders.
- Liaising with County Councils, An Bord Pleanla and other statutory bodies as required.
- Experience with engagement with environmental permitting including EPA Licence application process and/or the waste facility licencing process would be beneficial.
Requirements:
- A minimum qualification of Level 8 or Level 9 NEQ qualification (or equivalent) in Planning & Sustainable Development or related Environmental Science/Engineering discipline.
- Chartered planner (IPI, RTPI or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
- Relevant experience in the area of planning and environmental management / consultancy.
- Knowledge of Irish planning and environmental legislation, policy and practice.
- Project Management skills with attentiveness to critical dates and adherence to deadlines.
- Clear and confident verbal & written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of report preparation (MS Word) and use of MS Excel.
- Proven track record of working on your own initiative.
