Job Description
We are seeking a Plant Fitter to maintain and repair a fleet of lorries and machines at our Limestone Quarry and Precast manufacturing plant.
Keegan Group is a leading supplier of high quality construction products within Ireland and the UK. We produce ready-mix concrete, concrete blocks, precast walls and floors, and calcium carbonate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintenance and repair of quarry plant and machinery, including crushers, screeners, excavators, and tractors.
- Maintenance and repair of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, including articulated lorries, tractor units, and trailers.
- Fault finding and preventative maintenance.
- Coordination of service and repairs.
- Schedule and completion of preventative maintenance activities.
- Completion of all tasks in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience with diesel machinery.
- Experience working with quarry machinery is a distinct advantage.
- Trained in heavy plant equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and without supervision.
- Full clean driver's license.
