PLANT MANAGER The market leaders in manufacturing timber for the construction industry are seeking a Plant Manager in Longford. THE COMPANY: Our client has over 75 years of timber frame experience and continue to grow from strength to strength in the timber frame construction sector due to the quality of its workmanship, product, competitive pricing, and professional service to their clients. The company is now involved in many projects throughout Ireland both in Timber Frame and Roof Trusses. The management team at our client boast a wealth of knowledge that allows them to respond to their customer needs and demands for Timber Frame business. Due to their continued success, our client is seeking a Plant Manager in Longford. THE ROLE: The successful Plant Manager will be based in the factory in Longford and will work a mix of day and evening shifts with the following duties: Have 8-10 direct reports made up of design engineers, shift managers, contract managers and health and safety managers Oversee 2 factories, 1 new and 4 production lines in total Ensure production timelines are on schedule, delegate work and ensure KPI's are being met Drive efficiencies across all levels of the timber frame business THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to a wide range of Longford based Plant Manager with varying backgrounds and experience levels: Must have experience in senior leadership or management role in manufacturing or production, such as - plant manager, operations manager, contract manager, general manager, manufacturing manager. Any heavy industry such as timber, concrete, steel, or similar are an advantage.
