Job Summary Seeking experienced Plasmid Technical Lead to oversee plasmid manufacturing operations, drive technical development, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements. Hobson Prior, a leading company, is seeking a Plasmid Technical Lead to lead technical development, technology transfer, and problem-solving activities to meet business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical parts of plasmid manufacturing, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement. The Plasmid Technical Lead will serve as the main expert for plasmid DNA technical matters, developing and managing the technical roadmap for plasmid manufacturing. Key responsibilities include: • Develop and manage the technical roadmap for plasmid manufacturing. • Oversee technical resources to support business strategies. • Build relationships with external experts and suppliers. • Manage technical relationships with external partners. • Collaborate with the technical services team to align best practices. • Coordinate and lead technical improvement projects. • Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, and documentation practices. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of plasmid DNA manufacturing, leadership and coaching skills for developing technical teams, and effective risk management and organizational skills. Additionally, the candidate will have experience in creating and implementing performance systems, and the ability to lead a team and manage financial responsibilities.
