Platform Engineer Dublin, Ireland Salary: 70-85K Permanent, Full-time We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Platform Engineer to join our client's team in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure and platforms that support our applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and security, to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure. Develop automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability. Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and compliance.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
