PMO Analyst Required for Public Sector Client in North West or North East/Dublin Area
A PMO Analyst is needed to support the Head of PMO in delivering PMO services to a public sector client in the North West or North East/Dublin area. The role will involve working with a small team to drive the development of project management capabilities and maturity.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Support the Head of PMO in driving ongoing development of project management capabilities and maturity
• Support c.80 Project and Programme Managers in adoption and usage of Project Management methodology processes, tools and standards
• Pro-actively contribute and lead out on development and refinement of PM processes, procedures, standards, KPIs, etc.
• Establish feedback loop with Project Management community for continual improvement and enhancement of PMO value
• Support the professional development of a pool of Project Managers of varying levels of experience by delivering training
• Coach and support Project Managers in PM methodology, processes, techniques
• Support monthly reporting at project, programme and portfolio levels
• Operate a Quality Assurance process, to monitor and measure the application and effectiveness of project management standards, tools and processes
**Requirements:**
• Minimum 2 years working in a project management environment, preferably in a PMO role
• Certification in PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Project Management disciplines (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile,)
• Experience of Reporting and Data Management, particularly in Excel/Power BI
• Good working knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL)
• Good working understanding of information technology in general
• Excellent communications skills, including written
• Excellent presentation skills, including delivery of training
• Excellent people skills, cultural awareness and emotional intelligence
• At least intermediate level of proficiency in Office 365 suite of applications, including MS Visio and MS Project, ability to self-support
