Job Description

PMO Analyst Sanderson have teamed up with a leading insurance company to recruit a PMO Analyst on contract basis for 6 months to join their transformation team.


The successful candidate will work directly with the Senior PMO and head of transformation to support the oversight of the delivery of the portfolio of change programmes.


Responsibilities:
Benefit & Costs Benefit tracking: Highlighting variances to benefits defined in the business case.

Costs:

providing a clear view of actual vs budget and forecasting of costs to support decision making Resources; maintain a view of capacity panning and resources forecasting across the portfolio.


Logs maintenance:
updating and maintaining the risk log, action log, decisions log and issue register.


Committee Reporting Supporting the collation of a portfolio level view for the transformation committee Recording minutes, actions and decisions of the transformation committee Programme Support Providing training, specialist advice and programme management as necessary across the portfolio Supporting updates to the Planview system with programme data Oversight Promoting and championing the change framework and ensuring adherence across the portfolio Acting as the risk champion for the transformation team, ensuring the risk and control environment for change delivery is monitored in a timely manager, in line with the prescribed timelines.

Collating data as required for any 2nd Line Risk and Internal Audit reviews.

Documentation:
Collating programme mandatory documents and signoffs across programmes in the central PMO repository.

Supporting the Senior PMO Analyst in carrying out their responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

Project management qualification desirable Personable, pro-active, professional with a desire to grow your experience across a variety of projects and activities.

Must have of the Life & Pensions industry or financial services.


Experience working in a project management office desirable, or interaction in another capacity, exposing you to the skills outlined below.

Experience of project, programme, and portfolio reporting.

Excellent stakeholder management.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Power Point and Excel.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience of resource and cost budgeting and forecasting.

Understanding and experience of managing risks, issues and interdependencies as they relate to projects.
