Your expertise will be crucial for the effective delivery of projects related to energy management, critical power systems, and data centre control solutions. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Hanley Energys high standards and strategic objectives. This role will also allow you to work closely with program and project managers, providing support with a focus on the technical aspects of planning, monitoring, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Project/Program Monitoring & Reporting: Track and support technical project progress, focusing on timelines, budgets, and milestones for electrical systems and power solutions. Create detailed reports and dashboards for technical stakeholders and senior management, providing insights into project performance. Maintain comprehensive Risk Registers, Change Registers, Issue Logs, and Visual Management Systems for electrical and technical projects. Technical Data Analysis: Analyse project performance data, specifically for electrical engineering projects, to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare data-driven reports covering critical metrics like resource utilization, budget adherence, and technical project timelines. Governance and Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering projects adhere to Hanley Energys frameworks and governance policies. Keep thorough documentation to support internal audits and compliance with technical and safety standards. Resource Management: Monitor and report on resource allocation, with a focus on technical resources such as electrical engineers and field technicians. Assist with capacity planning to ensure optimal deployment of technical resources. Tool & Systems Management: Administer project management tools with an emphasis on technical project data and documentation. Provide training and support for team members using project management systems specific to electrical projects. Continuous Improvement: Support efforts to enhance PMO processes, templates, and standards, particularly for electrical engineering and technical project delivery. Assist in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and apply technical improvements for future initiatives. Requirements to Apply Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in a PMO Analyst or Senior Project Support role within the electrical engineering or energy sector. Strong understanding of both project management and technical aspects of electrical systems. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data and produce actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in technical report creation and stakeholder engagement. Advanced proficiency in tools like SAP, MS Excel, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting on technical projects. Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, JIRA) and electrical design tools. Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple technical tasks and deadlines. Experience in resource management and capacity planning within an engineering context is highly desirable.
