Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our clients team at a leading chemical company based in North Cork. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing engineering solutions to support, develop, and enhance both existing and new manufacturing processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our operations, involving process support, troubleshooting, optimisation, quality management, training, and the introduction of new products. THE ROLE: * Respond to any process, quality or equipment breakdown or failure, work with onsite mechanical and electrical team to solve issues. * Suggest potential process improvements, produce project plans and capital budgets, implement and control project. * Keep up to date records and documentation on quality management (Paradigm) systems as required. * Responsible for managing local corrective and preventative maintenance actions with engineering technician, production team and other relevant employees. * Project manage outside contractors on any process equipment, building or facilities activities * In conjunction with group engineering design, test & implement new techniques, technologies, and products.
