Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Blackrock Frascati, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of foot and ankle conditions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Treating a variety of skin ailments, such as verrucas, corns, and calluses, as well as assessing and treating ingrown toenails and clipping toenails.
- Providing preventative care and assistance to patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease.
- Diagnosing foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams and other methods.
- Prescribing special shoe inserts (orthotics) to improve and correct foot and ankle deformities.
- Providing advice and instruction on foot and ankle care and general wellness techniques.
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about patient background and progress.
- Meeting continuous education requirements and maintaining an up-to-date CPD folder.
- Writing patient case notes and reports, collecting statistics, and managing patient payments.
- Supervising student and junior podiatrists and enhancing teaching skills.
- Managing clinical risk and having excellent infection control awareness.
- Providing on-the-ground feedback to the marketing team.
Requirements include:
- BSc or MSc in Podiatry (essential).
- CORU registration (essential).
- Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland (SCPI) (essential).
- Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential).
- Private practice experience (preferred).
- New graduates welcome.
