Job Description
Seeking a Policy Specialist to leverage insights and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment, supporting Trust & Safety's production of transparency reports and conducting objective investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage insights from Legal, Government Affairs, and Trust & Safety teams to identify, propose, and implement updates and improvements to existing workflows and tooling.
- Support Trust & Safety's production of transparency reports, including setting project timelines and priorities, working with cross-functional stakeholders to track dependencies and facilitating cross-functional review and feedback.
- Conduct objective and timely investigations into legal requests.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or similar experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a role supporting content moderation and safety issues.
- Passionate about building a safe space for users and creators; has a strong understanding of the online safety landscape, especially issues related to privacy and free-expression.
- Strong project management skills; proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously across time zones.
- Experience in data analysis and producing public-facing reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; able to navigate complex issues and passionate about helping users and creators.
- Excellent communication skills; experience representing the team in cross-functional meetings and able to synthesize complex information for all audiences.
- Able to operate autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
