Portfolio Manager - Fund & Corporate ServicesThe role reports to the Designated Person (DP), Head of Investment Management of the entity based within the local jurisdiction.PURPOSE OF JOBTo act as AIFM & discretionary Investment Manager to a Credit/Lending Platform in Europe via an Irish AIF. Seed investors will invest in a fund vehicle as an entry point.The Fund’s investment policy is to lend funds to third party borrowers who will invest in European and UK Real Estate.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESEngage with borrowers in response to funding requests and obtain all necessary information to comprehensively assess loan applications.Liaise with the borrower to gain a full understanding of the proposed loan/transaction and the overall financial profile of the borrower.Obtain the suite of financial information considered appropriate/necessary to fully inform credit decisioning.Prepare a comprehensive Credit Application supported by the required financial information including loan modelling, addressing all headings in the Application including any supplementary/additional information/clarifications required to facilitate a full assessment of credit risk. The application will comprise of a detailed assessment of all risks/mitigants attaching to the proposed loan.Rule the Credit Application ensuring all approvals are consistent with the Fund’s Credit Policies and Procedures.Issue a formal credit decision in response to all formal loan applications (Approval/Decline/Deferral as appropriate). All Approvals (to be issued by Term Sheet) will set out the key loan specific terms, conditions, and covenants - full terms and conditions will be specified in a detailed Facility/Loan Agreement.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS8-10+ years of experience, ideally from a credit-oriented fund manager or bank with experience of direct lending.Subject-matter expert with an appetite to build out the asset class across Europe from an AIFM & Investment management servicing perspective.Advanced Excel user and familiarity with data query/data management tools.Ability to understand complex transaction-oriented credits.Strong communication skills with the ability and gravitas to present credibly, challenge and probe, and to engage with varied and senior stakeholders.Highly organized, goal oriented and solutions focused. #J-18808-Ljbffr
