Overview: We are looking to hire a Client Relationship Legal Assistant fluent in Brazilian Portuguese to support our recruitment partner during an exciting time of transformation in the legal industry in Ireland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting solicitors in managing a portfolio of Brazilian/Portuguese clients, handling both new inquiries and ongoing cases. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Qualifications: 3rd Level Education (desirable) Core Competencies (Essential): Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese Positive, motivated, and proactive attitude Strong skills in stakeholder and client relationship management Excellent communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general IT skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting Practical experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, typing skills) Tact and diplomacy in handling sensitive matters Resourceful with strong problem-solving capabilities Excellent organizational skills, with effective time and priority management Desired Skills: Experience in customer care, legal background, and/or familiarity with a case management system Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a client-focused, fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities: Support the Client Relationship Manager and Solicitors with all new business inquiries Assist Solicitors in managing cases for Brazilian/Portuguese clients Manage and coordinate daily calendar appointments Oversee daily tasks, such as: Preparing submissions for the Injuries Board Reviewing court documents with clients Attending in-house client meetings Handle incoming calls from Brazilian/Portuguese clients, including general inquiries and new queries Open new client files and manage email correspondence from clients Translate documents as needed Coordinate with Barristers, Witnesses, Translators, etc., for hearing dates, medical appointments, etc. Attend settlement and consultation meetings alongside Solicitors Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
