About the Role:
The Possession Planner is responsible for developing, planning, and delivering access plans for railway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage access to railway infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and manage interface risks associated with multiple tasks and groups.
- Review and confirm that relevant task PICs have assessed and implemented controls to manage risks associated with task delivery.
- Lead and manage the planning process for all worksites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of railway geography, access capability, and requirements.
- Numerate and literate.
- Knowledge of relevant train services and capacity.
- Risk assessing.
- Knowledge of possession standards and parameters.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to make critical decisions based on evidence.
