Job Description

Join the Nagpal Lab at University College Cork as a dynamic Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on innovative research investigating the influence of microbiota on neurodevelopment, stress, and social behavior using zebrafish as a model system. Key responsibilities include contributing to ongoing projects within the Microbiota-Gut-Brain Team, employing techniques such as microbiota manipulation, molecular biology, behavior analysis, and microscopy. Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or related fields
  • Experience with zebrafish model systems is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
