Postdoctoral: School of Engineering: The School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin, in collaboration with the Science Foundation Ireland CONNECT Centre, is excited to announce a vacancy for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. This is part of the “Not A Space Race,” a cutting-edge 2-year project focusing on the study and perception of quantum technologies within various strategic sectors.Designation:Postdoctoral Research FellowResearch Area:Quantum Technologies – Perception and Policy StrategiesLocation:Trinity College Dublin, IrelandRequired:PhD degree in Engineering, Science and Technology Studies (STS), policy, media studies, physics, philosophy, or other related fields.Experience in transdisciplinary or interdisciplinary research.Preferred:Strong publication track record.Experience with innovative methodologies in science, technology, and society.Job Description:The successful candidate will join the CONNECT Centre’s Network Ecologies group and Trinity’s School of Engineering. The role involves engaging with the Trinity Quantum Alliance network and the CoQREATE collaboration. Tasks will include investigating the various perceptions of quantum technologies among different stakeholders (policy, media, industry) in Ireland and globally.
