Practice Accountant, Galway Great opportunity to join a long established practice in Co Galway. Reporting to the Partners, the role will offer the successful candidate exposure to a wide variety of clients from sole traders to medium-sized companies. The role will look to build, manage and maintain excellent client relationships. This role will suit an accountant seeking career development and progression and building on their experience in Practice. Role Responsibilities: Accounts preparation for a diverse portfolio of Companies, Partnerships & Sole Traders Audit of small and medium sized companies, regulated entities Company Secretarial Filings Preparation & filing of corporate and personal tax returns Preparation & submission of VAT/PAYE Returns Leading and mentoring junior staff members Other Ad Hoc Duties as Required Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA) and have: Experience in Practice Strong analytical/problem-solving skills Strong level of attention to detail Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills Experience in using Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to be flexible and to work under pressure Self starter and ability to work on own initiative If you are interested in the above role please contact Bernie, email your updated CV to .
