Morgan McKinley are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a leading manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to specifications. The operator will ensure that all parts meet quality standards and production deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Set-Up and Operation: Set up and operate press brake machines, including adjusting settings and installing tooling. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine correct bending sequences and machine settings. Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required specifications. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment and troubleshoot any issues. Production and Efficiency: Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred. Experience: Minimum (2-3 years) experience operating press brake machinery; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) and quality control processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Willingness to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
