Seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring quality and production deadlines are met.
Morgan Mc Kinley is a leading manufacturing team seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines, including adjusting settings and installing tooling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine correct bending sequences and machine settings.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
- Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience operating press brake machinery; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) and quality control processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
