Are you a financial analysis expert looking to apply your skills in pricing strategy? Our client, a leading provider of software solutions in accounting, is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager to focus on in-depth financial analysis and drive profitable growth. The Opportunity The Pricing Manager will play a crucial role in the company's financial success by leveraging data and financial models to shape and implement pricing strategies. You will conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, margins, and overall profitability. Your insights will guide the optimisation of pricing structures to maximise market share while ensuring financial targets are met. Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Modelling Perform detailed financial analysis to assess the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, profitability, and market share. Build financial models to forecast the outcomes of various pricing scenarios and support long-term strategic planning. Analyse pricing data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for margin improvement. Profitability Assessment & Market Analysis Conduct in-depth market analysis to assess competitor pricing, market demand, and customer preferences. Evaluate the financial performance of existing pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to optimise margins and profitability. Develop pricing models that are aligned with business objectives and market conditions, ensuring financial targets are consistently met. Data-Driven Pricing Strategy Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, product management, and sales to ensure pricing decisions are informed by robust financial insights. Utilise advanced data analysis tools and techniques to interpret complex datasets, driving pricing strategies that are evidence-based and financially sound. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Prepare regular financial reports highlighting key pricing metrics and the impact of pricing strategies on overall financial performance. Present pricing recommendations and financial forecasts to senior management and other key stakeholders. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimisation Identify and lead initiatives to improve pricing processes, using financial data to streamline efficiency and maximise profitability. Stay updated with the latest trends in pricing, revenue management, and financial analysis to continuously refine strategies. Key Requirements Extensive experience in financial analysis, ideally with a focus on pricing strategies. Strong proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience developing and managing subscription-based pricing models, with a proven track record of aligning these with market trends and customer needs. Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau is preferred. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is advantageous. Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
