You will also be part of a sought-after culture that supports dynamic career advancement and prizes work/life balance.Contribute to the formulation of a strategic growth plan for the regionOversee staff and projects, maintain financial performance metricsTakes a lead role in business development, identifying and cultivating new relationships, particularly in SLC marketActively participate in the identification and targeting of clients through the delivery of service excellence to deliver growth in organic revenue in the practice groupContribute to the development and implementation of the business plan and ensure the team understands it, and the role that they play in its achievement, through the development of the appropriate culture and the provision of context and clarityBuild strong relationships and create successful teamsDevelop enduring relationships with clients to understand their business needs and ensure client satisfaction to improve retention and deliver organic revenue growthDirect the identification of talent in the practice group in both technical capability and sales and promote career development by directing individuals who are identified, to the appropriate development programsParticipate in decisions on resource utilization within the practice groupMaintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of the practice group’s clients and the market to identify key trends and emerging opportunitiesDevelop relationships throughout Arcadis to foster cooperation and to maximize opportunities to cross-sell within the organizationQualificationsQualifications and Experience:15+ years of experience in architecture and/or landscape architecture related to the delivery of walkable urbanism.Relevant degree inlandscape architecture, and/or architecture.Critical thinking skills that incorporate and blend innovative ideas in land use, landscape architecture, urban design, and planning and designing walkable urbanism solutions.Proven track record of building successful planning & urban design practices in an interdisciplinary environment.Experience managing teams across geographies.Significant experience on large-scale/highly complex projectsExcellent verbal, written, and graphical/visualization storytelling skills to convey ideas to clients, elected officials, managers, decision-makers, and technical staff.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp.
