The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and championing strategic objectives, aligning them with enterprise-wide goals, and leading business design activities across a key business domain. Key Responsibilities: Research emerging technology trends, market disruptions, and competitor practices to inform strategic decisions. Identify business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities to enhance revenue, optimise costs, maintain compliance, and mitigate risks. Document business capabilities and map them to people, processes, information, and technologies. Define domain blueprints that illustrate the interconnectedness of the business and operating models. Create business models, roadmaps, and assess capability and process gaps between current and future states. Develop strategic deliverables such as business capability models, investment roadmaps, and "strategy on a page" frameworks. Collaborate with technical SMEs to advise on business solutions, weighing risks, benefits, and impacts. Lead business design activities from initial project scoping to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop ecosystem and business capability models to support agile teams in delivering continuous business value. Act as a key point of authority, providing business assurance across major projects and investments. Essential Qualifications & Experience: BSc or MSc in Engineering, Finance, Strategy, or equivalent. Proven thought leader with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic conversations. Experience in consulting, architecture, or strategy, with knowledge across the change and delivery lifecycle. Expertise in business architecture, strategic planning, and design. Strong interpersonal skills, including facilitation, negotiation, and collaboration. Analytical and innovative, with the ability to balance short-term actions with long-term goals. Familiarity with both existing and emerging technologies and their impact on business operations.
