Job Description

Squarespace is a design-driven platform that empowers millions of customers worldwide to build brands and businesses online. We're seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to drive cash, equity, and benefits for all employees globally.

As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you'll analyze external benchmark data, evaluate existing roles, and provide recommendations on new roles using internal and external data. You'll also consult with senior business leaders, create compelling presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze external benchmark data to ensure the creation and maintenance of pay structures, including base and equity
  • Evaluate existing roles and provide recommendations on new roles using a combination of internal and external data
  • Provide consultation to senior business leaders using compensation expertise
  • Create compelling presentations using data and key facts to educate and provide recommendations
  • Research compensation trends and use findings to improve Squarespace products and processes
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to model the financial and talent effects of compensation decisions
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders, Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Legal, and Finance to provide compensation expertise and data
  • Lead year-end planning, create timing and project plans, model budgets, and collaborate with tech partners
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory filings and updates
  • Lead impactful organization-wide projects using excellent project management skills
  • Provide subject matter expertise in collaboration with internal communications on implementation and change management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of work experience in HR with 8+ years in compensation
  • Advanced Excel skills, including writing macros and maintaining complex spreadsheets
  • 3+ years of experience with program modeling, design, and implementation, inclusive of HRIS management
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the US and international markets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with equity (LTI) plans
  • Experience using Google products (Sheets, Docs)
  • Sales incentive compensation experience
  • Experience with Workday
