Job Description

Senior Compensation Consultant

We're seeking a seasoned Compensation Consultant to drive strategic compensation initiatives and provide expert guidance to senior business leaders.

As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our compensation strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze external benchmark data to inform pay structures and equity programs
  • Evaluate existing roles and provide recommendations for new roles using internal and external data
  • Provide consultation to senior business leaders on compensation strategy and best practices
  • Create compelling presentations to educate and inform business leaders on compensation trends and strategies
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to model the financial and talent effects of compensation decisions
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders, HR, and Finance to provide compensation expertise and data-driven recommendations
  • Lead year-end planning and budgeting for the compensation team and client groups
  • Collaborate with tech partners on system requirements and implementation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and employee records
  • Lead impactful organization-wide projects and priorities using excellent project management skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of work experience in HR with 8+ years in compensation
  • Advanced Excel skills, including writing macros and maintaining complex spreadsheets
  • 3+ years of experience with program modeling, design, and implementation, including HRIS management
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the US and international markets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with equity (LTI) plans
  • Experience using Google products (Sheets, Docs)
  • Sales incentive compensation experience
  • Experience with Workday
  • Certified Compensation Professional

Compensation Range:

$115,500 – $203,550 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria, including relevant skills, experience, and location.

In addition to the cash compensation, all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
